Two very important issues to the Association are to assist in the spiritual welfare of its members and to assist members in time of adversity.

This assistance is provided in the form of Spiritual Development, one of the 4 Pillars of the College, with the facilitation of various ceremonies on a weekly, monthly and annual basis at the College, all of which are open to TOBA members and the wider College community to attend.

TOBA recognises that the spiritual dimension is the core, the centre and the steadfast commitment to our Catholic value system. It is a very private and important area of our life.

TOBA members may find themselves at a point in their life where they need someone to talk with, to seek spiritual guidance or advice, particularly during times of adversity.

(Traditional Gaelic Blessing)

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
And may you be half an hour in heaven
before the devil knows your dead.
